I’ve been in the deep weeds with work the past couple of weeks. October-November are always the busy season. Add to that some much needed family time before we spend almost a month apart. Yesterday, amidst the weeds, I spent the afternoon with some of the most talented creatives in the most beautiful space in town for the October Tuesday’s Together gathering. And it was exactly what I needed to remember why I LOVE what I do. And how lucky I am to be part of this community of creative entrepreneurs. Even when the to do list is long and the days seem too short. So thankful to be part of this group.
If you’re a creative entrepreneur you should go check out the Rising Tide Society and see if there’s a local Tuesday’s Together group in your area. I’m so thankful to my friend Abby for inviting me to my first meet-up a few months ago.
This particular Tuesday’s Together meeting was held at an urban boutique event space in Grand Rapids called The Cheney Place. I wanted to move in. Or setup a little desk in a corner of this space and make it my new work space away from home.
After snapping a bajillion photos a group of us decided to grab some drinks (or the most amazing egg sandwich ever in my case) at what might be my new favorite downtown restaurant, the Winchester. If you’re local (or visiting GR) add this place to your list to check out. And order the egg sandwich. Even if it’s dinner time. Trust me. : )
