Stitch Fix – Before the Fix

I thought it’d be fun to do sort of a behind the scenes/before the fix ships post. I’m currently waiting for my 6th Stitch Fix box so I’ve been busy updating my Pinterest style board and writing a note to Kallie, my stylist. She’s been my stylist for the first 5 fixes so, while there’s no guarantee she’ll be my stylist for this fix, generally they let you keep the same stylist if she’s nailing it every time (and she totally is). I pushed this fix back a bit since I felt like I’d accumulated a pretty good selection of summer options. Probably could’ve waited till a little closer to fall for my next fix but we’ve got a fun trip to California coming up next month and I’ve got some referral dollars just itchin’ to be spent so…

So here’s the note that I left my stylist for this next fix:

The last fix was SO great! I’ll be heading to San Francisco in August so anything that’d help this midwest girl look like she belongs in Cali would be perfect! Currently swooning over: Escarpa Embroidered top, Freeway Luc Dress (love!), Level99 Cindie short, Lydia floral keyhole, York geo print top-all pinned. :) Also, if the Gilli Sina maxi is back in stock I’d LOVE to try that. :)

And here’s what I’ve pinned recently, some of which…okay, a lot of which…I’ve mentioned in my note as well:

And a few that I didn’t specifically mention – mostly only because I found them via polyvore without item names:

I’ve got a bunch more pinned but these are my recent favs. I’ll be thrilled if she sends even a couple of the items I’ve got pinned but half the fun of Stitch Fix is the whole surprise factor. That, and getting things I might not have ever chosen for myself. So honestly, I’d probably be a bit bummed if all 5 items in my fix were directly from my pinterest board.

You can check out my style board here. And if you’re interested in trying Stitch Fix I’d love it if you’d use my referral link. I’ve had 20 friends order boxes so far which means I’ve gotten $500 in referral credits (and 20 of my friends are even more stylish than they were before). It makes this addiction much easier to justify to the hubby and I’d really love to get a few more boxes to beef up my fall and winter wardrobes. :) If you give it a try I’d love to hear what you think!
